“Armenia and France Strengthen Urban Planning Ties with Landmark Agreement”

On May 14, a meeting of the Municipal Commission on Urban Planning was held. It was attended by Chairman Mihran Khachatryan, representative of the French Ministry of Defense and Security Olivier Dacoteiny, representative of the French Embassy in Armenia William Pojizi, and representative of the Municipality of France, the European Union, the EAEU, and Turkey Jerom Lézouch. The main topic of discussion was cooperation in urban planning and development between the two countries.

During the meeting, the participants engaged in discussions regarding further deepening and expanding bilateral cooperation in urban planning and development. As part of this, the signing ceremony for the “Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Urban Planning and Development between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of France” took place.

The signing of this agreement aims to enhance collaboration between Armenia and France in urban planning and development. It seeks to promote the exchange of specialists, scientific knowledge, and best practices in the field between the two countries.
