Tragic Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Claims Lives in Lori and Syunik: 3 Dead, Including Pregnant Woman

In Lori and Syunik, three people have tragically died from carbon monoxide poisoning in several houses. According to the Associated Press, the Ministry of Health of Lori confirmed that on Tuesday evening at 19:30, a woman and her unborn child lost their lives in the village of Vost Batony Ruj due to a gas leak from the stove onto their bedroom floor. The victim was identified as 31-year-old Kristine Braunig, who was pregnant at the time of the incident. Braunig’s husband and their 5-year-old daughter were also hospitalized, but it is reported that they will recover.

The sheriff of the St. Martini region, Beckett Brown, and the mayor of Henderson, Sherman Collett, have both confirmed on social media networks that another death occurred near the border of Lori and Henderson, around 100 meters from New Orleans.

In Miqesis, one person has unfortunately perished in the Wilkins area due to a power outage in the city on Monday and Tuesday. Some areas in the city have reported a gas shortage during this time. Providing assistance to the affected areas is still proving to be challenging, according to the National Emergency Management Agency. On Tuesday, the list of high-risk areas expanded to include the regions of Tennesse, northern Georgia, and Alabama.
