“Abovian Street Chaos: Official Car Tries to Run Over Reporter, Red Cross Joins Protests”

On Abovian Street, there was an incident involving the official car of the Republic’s representative and a reporter from “Mediahub”. The car attempted to run over the reporter, causing fear and distress. A protester came forward to comfort and calm down the reporter.

The Red Cross has been actively involved in the protests and demonstrations happening in Yerevan. As a result, certain intersections, such as Saatchi-Nova-Nalbandian and Saatchi-Nova-Abovian, were temporarily closed. Young individuals gathered and blocked the road, even removing one driver from their car and taking control of it.

Representatives from the Public Chamber of the “Armenia” group, including Gegham Manukyan, Artur Khachatryan, and Mher Sahakyan, were present during the events on Abovian Street. As a large crowd entered the street, they resorted to using force against the protesters.

The streets of Yerevan were once again closed by the Tavush troops, led by Archbishop Bagrat. Previous announcements indicated that actions would occur near the “Marchal Baghramyan” metro station, the “Sasuntsi Davit” metro station, and the statue of Avetik Isahakyan.

Archbishop Bagrat expressed that the march was a demonstration of the people’s determination that extended throughout the entire territory of Armenia. He emphasized the importance of peaceful, constructive, and loving actions, assuring that the truth will ultimately triumph, regardless of the means.

The residents of the city are organizing protests on Abovian Street, displaying posters with messages such as “Armenian, Armenia, Fatherland, and God.”
