“Massive Protests Rock Yerevan: Over 150 Citizens Demand Justice and Freedom”

Over 150 citizens gathered in Yerevan at 11:00 to protest against injustice and repression. The protest movement was organized by different groups of protesters, as reported by NEWS.am. The protesters referred to the 182nd article of the Civil Code of the Republic of Armenia, which addresses the failure to meet the demands of protesters.

It is worth noting that, led by Bagrat, the leader of the Tem anti-tem movement, several streets in Yerevan were closed starting in the morning. By 08:00, around 20 streets in the capital had been closed. At 10:30, 134 individuals participated in the protest on behalf of the protesters.

The authorities’ published instructions highlight the protesters’ use of force, organizing numerous protests with a large number of citizens and, in some cases, blocking the river. These actions resulted in the damage of one of the protesters’ surveillance cameras and an incident involving a reporter from 24news.am during the clash.

In the morning, during a public gathering held the previous day, Tem demanded the cancellation of “secret lessons, working hours, and privatization of the entire city and the territories of the Republic of Armenia, revealing tyranny and violence.” NEWS.am shared this information on Telegram.
