The protests in our country have escalated significantly, with judges carrying out what could be viewed as politically motivated prosecutions. Speaking to journalists, former Minister of Defense Artak Zakaryan expressed his uncertainty about how this situation will unfold. He emphasized that the outcome depends on the collective willpower of the people. Zakaryan highlighted the resilience of Tavush, which has long been a symbol of strength for the Armenian people, and stressed the need for international support and collaborative efforts to overcome this challenging situation.

Amidst these circumstances, it is crucial for our compatriots to recognize the potential dangers associated with participating in these protests. It may be easier to distance oneself from these activities and focus on restoring the political system. There are various approaches to neutralizing this system, but the most crucial aspect is to remain steadfast and avoid passivity in order to witness the unfolding events. Nevertheless, Zakaryan commended the brave individuals who are willing to fight for this cause.

Notably, today, there was a preliminary hearing for representatives of Narineh Samsonyan and Vazgen Sargsyan regarding the “I’m Not Alone” podcast case.
