“Chief of Staff of National Security Council of Slovenia Visits Armenia to Strengthen Collaboration on National Security and Address Regional Developments”

The Chief of Staff of the National Security Council of Slovenia, Luboshs Blaha, has arrived in Armenia on the invitation of the President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sarkisian. The visit of the Chief of Staff, who is accompanied by officials from the National Assembly of Armenia, Samik Hakobyan and Tamar Ghazaryan, is taking place in Brussels.

The delegation includes representatives from the governments of both countries, as well as cultural and spiritual values between the two peoples. Talks have been held on strengthening collaboration in the field of national security between Slovenia and Armenia. The visit also focuses on discussing the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict and regional developments, as well as the conditions for ceasefire and delineation of the border, based on the principles of international law, territorial integrity, and self-determination.

The role of the diplomatic missions in the normalization of relations between the two countries is also important. The President of the National Security Council of Slovenia emphasized the importance of long-term peace in the region. He said that the military balance is one of the key factors in achieving lasting peace in the region.

The Chief of Staff of Slovenia further noted that Slovenia respects the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Armenia. He emphasized the importance of Slovenian-Armenian relations and the interaction between the two countries’ peoples.
