Journalist Gohar Meloyan recently took to her Facebook page to express strong criticism towards the policies and actions of a local official. The official, who serves as a city representative, made a statement implying that if someone were to enter their home, they should not expect any form of protection.

Meloyan highlighted the concerning implications behind these words, pointing out the official’s lack of awareness regarding obligations and the necessity of filing an official report in cases of property invasion. She further emphasized that the official’s primary duty, for which they are paid, is to ensure the well-being of others. According to Meloyan, this duty has been neglected, as evidenced by the official’s failure to follow proper protocol, such as bringing necessary documents from their boss’ house (referring to Article 1-02).

In an attempt to gather more information, reporter Narek Sargsyan reached out to NEWS.am for comment. However, the news outlet declined to provide further details or disclose the steps being taken with regard to this employee, citing a lack of information from their sources.
