“Casualties Soar to 153 as Afghanistan Struggles to Aid Victims Amidst Protests”

In the midst of the protests in Afghanistan, the number of casualties has reached 153, according to reports on Saturday. At least 138 people have been injured in the Bangalan, Tahrar, and Badakhshan provinces, due to the aftermath of the violent clashes with protesters on Friday. The Reuters news agency quoted Abdul Matin Qaneen, the spokesperson for the government, as saying.

The authorities in Afghanistan are seeking to help the residents affected by the violence, as over 100 people are reported to be in critical condition.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), many people have remained trapped in inaccessible areas, making it difficult for aid and transportation to reach them.
