An official from the Israeli Prime Minister’s office, Beniamin Netanyahu, revealed in an interview with Merit Street Media TV channel that 20 out of the 24 accounts belonging to the Armenian National Movement (HAMAQ) have been frozen by an Israeli bank. Netanyahu stated that they have successfully frozen nearly 20 accounts and are currently working on freezing the remaining 4. He explained that the freezing of these accounts is the reason why they want to enter Rafah, as leaving them there is not an option. Additionally, Netanyahu acknowledged the “strong opposition” faced by Israel during the operation in Rafah but expressed confidence in the Israeli military’s ability to prevail.
