The President of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, emphasized the importance of their rights in future activities in an article published in the Republic.

He specifically stated that in order to achieve victory, the people must endure the difficult path of struggle, considering the well-being of their families, the government, national history, fallen soldiers, and their own lives.

He also acknowledged that the demands of the nation extended beyond the publication, encompassing all segments of society, including those divided within Armenia and the diaspora.

President Sarkissian proposed taking the first step of declaring a lack of confidence and distrust in him in the National Assembly, and intended to discuss the organization of this process with the three factions in the Assembly. If resistance persists, peaceful actions will continue without resorting to violence.
