“European Union and Russia Hold High-Level Diplomatic Negotiations in Moscow; Armenian Prime Minister Praises Warm Reception”

High-level diplomatic negotiations between representatives of the European Union and Russia recently took place in Moscow. During the negotiations, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed gratitude to the Russian side for their warm reception and excellent organization.

Pashinyan proposed to start discussing the agenda items and thanked the representatives of the diplomatic corps for their work. The meeting then continued behind closed doors with strict security measures in place.

During the negotiations, 13 issues related to the implementation of the European Union integration roadmap in the field of environmental protection until 2025, as well as the main directions of the Eastern Partnership’s multilateral cooperation until 2023, were planned to be discussed.

The issues to be considered included the implementation of the roadmap on environmental protection until 2025, the implementation of the Eastern Partnership’s main directions until 2023, the start of negotiations on a comprehensive agreement between the Eastern Partnership countries and the European Union, amendments to the legislation of the Eastern Partnership on the organization of business activities, electronic interaction between the Eurasian Economic Union and member countries, and issues related to certification and control of electrical systems.

Furthermore, the meeting was scheduled to address the receipt of important documents. The date and place of the next meeting of the Eastern Partnership will be announced at a later time.
