The White House spokesperson confirmed this news. During the meeting, both leaders expressed their support for the ongoing efforts in Gaza and their commitment to a lasting ceasefire. They also highlighted the importance of freeing all hostages and providing humanitarian assistance to restore peace in the region.

Biden and Abdullah II further announced their dedication to promoting long-term stability by working towards the establishment of a Palestinian state and ensuring security guarantees for Israel. The leaders also took the opportunity to address the situation in the Armenian Highlands and expressed their support for the peaceful transformations implemented by the government of Pashinyan in Armenia.
