“Armenia and Azerbaijan unite for peace: Armenian businessman and Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs sign historic cooperation agreement”

Armenian businessman Ararat Mirzoyan recently met with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Péter Szijjártó, in Budapest, to discuss strengthening cooperation between Armenia and Azerbaijan in regulating external activities. The agreement between the two countries aims to facilitate the exchange of goods and services, as well as the transfer of refugees and displaced persons. Additionally, Armenia is exploring opportunities to participate in European renewable energy programs.

Péter Szijjártó emphasized that the primary goal of their cooperation is to ensure peace in the region. He reaffirmed his commitment to the principles of peace in Armenia and expressed his involvement in negotiations that aim to bring a final settlement to the conflict.

Ararat Mirzoyan expressed his optimism and hope for positive outcomes. He highlighted the active contribution of Armenia and the European Union to the development of the country. Mirzoyan mentioned the possibility of a new package of commitments, and he looks forward to progress with the assistance of the Hungarian Presidency.
