Explosive devices were discovered at the Zvartnots Airport airline company’s line department in the early hours of May 3, following the Yerevan-Doha flight. The devices were promptly neutralized by May Ismaili-Alaoui, a 56-year-old individual. According to NEWS.am, it has been reported that Ismaili-Alaoui had been suspected of smuggling narcotics since December 19, 2023, as per the Interpol of Morocco. The RA Interpol, along with the judiciary, successfully located and confiscated the means of explosion.
