Bagrat Srabazan’s Spiritual Pilgrimage in Syunik City Gains Momentum, Gains Support from Public Figures and Opposition Leaders

Bagrat Srabazan’s pilgrimage to Syunik city began on Sunday, with faithful followers gathering to be serenaded by spiritual songs, holy chants, and prayers. As they traveled, they were welcomed by the sound of honking cars, a sign of support from passersby. The pilgrimage began in Kirants village and has passed through Sariyegh and Ijevan. The participants spent the night near Haghartsin Monastery.

In addition to the devout followers, the procession has also been joined by various prominent figures, including Suren Petrosyan, leader of the “Public Consolidation Movement,” Gagik Danielyan, a member of the National Assembly, Artur Sargsyan, members of the “Hayk” youth union, parents of fallen soldiers in the 44-day war, and cultural figures.

Bagrat Srabazan had previously stated that the march would reach Yerevan on May 9, where they plan to present their demands to the opposition. These demands include the resignation of the government and the organization of early elections.
