At 08:00, the National Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received an alert regarding an explosion in a house on Matnishyan Street in the city of Gyumri. According to Shamshyan.com, the explosion led to significant damage to the house and two rooms. After the fire was extinguished, rescue teams discovered the bodies of two girls, aged three and five, in one of the rooms. The girls had suffocated and were in a state of intoxication.

As a result of this incident, a state of emergency has been declared in the Shirak regional administration. Authorities are currently working on identifying the deceased individuals.
