On May 3rd, a major car accident occurred in the Vayots Dzor province. At approximately 08:30, a 48-year-old resident of Vayk named Harutyun T. was driving a “UAZ” branded car when he lost control in the riverbed of the Jermuk city street called “Surp Pokas” and crashed into the river. This information was reported by Shamshyan.com.

The driver suffered serious injuries as a result of the collision and was immediately taken to the “Jermuk” medical center for treatment.

As a response to this incident, the Vayots Dzor regional administration has declared a state of emergency in the area.
