“Russian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers Pave the Way for Stronger Trade Relations Across Multiple Industries”

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Shahin Mustafayev recently met in Moscow to discuss various issues related to bilateral trade and economic cooperation. According to a statement by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the talks focused on current matters included in the agenda of the Russian-Azerbaijani intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation. Both co-chairmen of the commission agreed to continue their efforts in implementing agreements pertaining to all aspects of Russian-Azerbaijani relations. Notably, particular attention was given to the advancement of trade cooperation in several sectors such as agriculture, energy, transport, construction, finance, healthcare, culture, science, education, and tourism.
