The central office of “Fisher” LLC in Yerevan is currently undergoing real-time monitoring of food safety conducted by experts from the National Center for Food Safety Monitoring (NCFSM). According to a report from NEWS.am, the investigation has revealed unsanitary conditions in the packaging room and refrigeration section of the production facility. Contaminated and expired substances were found, and the utensils used were not preventing cross-contamination, which could lead to food poisoning and the spread of bacteria. As a result of these violations, the fish processing facility’s operation has been temporarily suspended, and a timeframe has been given to address and correct the identified issues.
