On April 30, at 22:20, the emergency service of the Ararat regional administration received a report about an injured person near the Opera House, which is one of the centers for managing emergency services. According to NEWS.am, the emergency service employees of Masis city reported that a 48-year-old man and his 28-year-old son, who were traveling in a car for quick transportation, were attacked by an unknown individual near the 2nd street of Masis city. In an attempt to escape, they returned to the 2nd street accompanied by the attacker. In the presence of the public, the attacker assaulted the father and son, resulting in their deaths. Preliminary evidence suggests that the criminal act was preceded by a conflict and physical altercation. On May 1, the 17-year-old attacker and his 41-year-old father were arrested and handed over to the custody of the emergency service of Masis city. An investigation is currently underway.
