“Armenian-Azerbaijani Conflict: Ceasefire Fragile and Issue of Karabakh Unresolved, Says News.am Correspondent”

News.am correspondent Arshak Kiviryan highlighted in an interview that the ceasefire situation is still ongoing, as the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict remains unresolved. Kiviryan pointed out that the resolution of other disagreements will also depend on the situation in Karabakh, which is understood by the villagers according to Pashinyan’s statements. However, the problem lies in their weariness of waiting for a resolution. In the 2021 elections, they expressed support for Pashinyan, believing that the Karabakh issue would be resolved. Kiviryan further stated that the people of Yerevan are hoping for a resolution solely regarding Karabakh, excluding themselves.

The expert underlined that Pashinyan has taken no action to safeguard his power, leading to the necessity of employing force to liberate the people from this theater, starting with Nikol and his associates. Otherwise, these maneuvers will persist, according to Kiviryan. To achieve a genuine program in establishing a democratic society, Kiviryan suggested the possibility of an international call directed towards the relevant entities and political forces responsible for its implementation. The expert concluded that for the past 30 years, the political arena in Armenia has been manipulated, leaving behind only a puppet figure connoting power, resulting in the current prevalence of corruption in all previous authorities.
