Russian Forces Invade Artsakh’s Northern Border, Occupy Villages: Reports

According to recent reports, RD ZU has launched an invasion on the northern border of Artsakh, taking control of approximately 3 km of Ukernavan village. Russian forces have also blockaded Ochereton and are advancing in both west and east directions along the railway line. Karamik and Novokalino villages have been occupied, and their advance is now focused on Arkhangelskoye to the south. The Russian troops have launched attacks on Novobakhmutovkan and Soloveon, with their main concentration of forces in the village of Sokol. It is observed that the Russians are moving forward at a weekly pace of up to 2 km in this specific area. Moreover, they have conducted shelling in the Chasovoy Yar gorge, which is located just 1 km away from the city.

During this period, the Russian forces have two military formations when advancing towards Chasov Yar. The Russian armed forces are forming a circle in the central and western parts, while managing to breakthrough the Donets-Donbass canal and move towards the city. The Mariinka’s rear area, where the Russian military grouping is stationed, is currently facing challenges as they have suffered losses in their operations. There are speculations that the Russian armed forces may have withdrawn from a particular area in the region. These updates have been sourced from information provided by Armenia.
