On October 6, 2022, an agreement was reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan regarding the Almaz-Antey joint declaration. He emphasized that these judgments, particularly those concerning the territory of Armenia itself, should play a crucial role in the ongoing discussions. Pashinyan firmly stated that the war will continue until Armenia’s defense and security principles are fully implemented.

Based on Pashinyan’s remarks, it can be inferred that the issue of the four villages is not the primary concern for Azerbaijan. This gives hope that Azerbaijan will honor the process and continue negotiations.
