Narek Mkrtchyan, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, congratulated the citizens of the city on the occasion of International Labor Day and Workers’ Day. The government understands the importance of labor and the responsibility of citizens, as well as the development of the country. Therefore, they are committed to protecting and promoting the rights and interests of labor, creating decent working conditions, and establishing new job opportunities.

Last year, significant changes were made to the labor legislation in the Republic of Armenia. These changes were necessary to regulate the rights and interests of workers and employers and to address practical issues. These changes continue to be implemented, with a focus on improving the assessment of family vulnerability within the social protection system, providing guidance and support to employers, and connecting with job seekers.

In addition, military exercises in the field of labor and social protection have been conducted to address the actual needs of the people. These exercises have greatly contributed to the practical implementation of workers’ rights and the promotion of employment.

Once again, Minister Mkrtchyan congratulates everyone on these special occasions and expresses his deepest gratitude. He wishes everyone success in their future endeavors.
