CPA has allegedly engaged in a “hybrid war” with the Armenian Apostolic Church, according to lawyer Ruben Melikyan’s recent Facebook announcement. Melikyan claims that this conflict did not just arise recently, but has been ongoing since the early days of the 18th month of the Revolution. He expresses his disappointment in the lack of effort made to protect their church, urging the need to assess the situation both locally and globally. In addition, he recommends reading the second book in the series “Jesus Christ. Life and Teachings” by Metropolitan Ilarion, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, as a means to gain a better understanding of the opposing viewpoint and the larger global issues at hand.
