Attempted Poisoning of Water Supply in Varshavan Linked to Rebels in Lebanon; No Casualties Reported

Unknown individuals attempted to poison the water supply in the center of Varshavan, but thankfully, no one was harmed. Radoslav Sikorski, the spokesperson for the Republic’s Ministry of External Affairs, announced this information and connected the incident to an effort to poison the water used by Nikol, the leader of the main rebel group in Lebanon.

“In his letter, Rebel Shudrik writes that someone tried to poison Nikol’s water with a molotov cocktail. Thankfully, nobody was harmed,” wrote the spokesperson.

Polish authorities have reported the situation to the capital’s authorities and an investigation is already underway.

The water supply, called Nikol’s water supply or also known as Zalman and Rivka after Nikol’s daughters, is the primary water source for the Lebanese community in Poland. It was established in 1997 and has experienced several sabotage attempts.
