“National Assembly Approves Annual Session Schedule with Key Agendas Including TV and Radio Commission, Central Electoral Commission, and Judiciary Reports”

The National Assembly held its annual session today, April 30, and approved its schedule of sessions. The four-day session will cover a wide range of topics, including updates on the activities of the Television and Radio Commission in 2023 and the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Armenia in 2022-2023. Reports on the activities of the RA Human Rights Defender and the Protection of Rights and Freedoms of Individuals, as well as the 2023 report of the RA Human Rights Defender regarding the national mechanism for the prevention of torture, will also be presented. Additionally, news on the activities of the RA judiciary in 2023 will be discussed, and there will be an election for a new judge of the Constitutional Court. It is worth mentioning that the General Assembly of Judges has recommended Davit Khachatryan as a potential candidate for this position.
