The program “Support for the Reforms of the Ministry of Defense and the Security Sector of the Republic of Armenia” is being implemented in the regions of the RA, organized by the Ministry of Defense and the relevant structures, with the participation of the NPT, April 22-26. The composition of the order includes the Minister of Defense and Security of the Republic of Armenia Arman Mkrtchyan, the Deputy Minister of Defense and Security Vaginak Martirosyan, the RPA Prime Minister’s spokeswoman Karina Liduokhar, the Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Public Relations and the Deputy of the Attorney General’s Office for Law Enforcement Maria Alaverdyan, the Deputy of the Ministry of Justice for Legal Affairs Arman Martoyan and the head of the RA National Security Service Migration and Citizenship Department.

During the visit, the members of the RA NPT had meetings with the RA NPT’s Liaison Officer Agneta Ladeki, the Head of the Liaison Committee for Public Order and Security in Litva and the Deputy Prime Minister of Lithuania Renatas Poceilauskas, and the Deputy Head of the RA NPT. the construction works of the line were discussed.

The meetings took place in the central office of the Public Administration of Public Programs, the State Administration Department, the Ministry of Defense of Lithuania and the Faculty of International Relations.

During the meetings, special attention was paid to the implementation of the real reforms of the Ministry of Defense and the Security Sector, as well as the issues of analysis and military planning, as well as the prevention of corruption.

The partners of Lithuania have reaffirmed their readiness to support the ongoing reforms in the RA by the RA NPT.
