The head of the “Armenia” group of the National Assembly, Gagik Danielyan, has been discharged from the hospital. He and MP Aspram Krikoryan are moving to join the road closed by protesters in the village of Kirants on Sunday.

Earlier, NEWS.am reported that today the protesters also closed the section of the Armenia-Georgia interstate road in the village of Bagratashen. The leaders of the group demanded the opening of the road, Gagik Danielyan also addressed the people with a request to calm down. Tensions have arisen between protesters and participants of the action. Protesters began to push the townspeople. Aggregation participants brought it to him, and then called for help.

According to official information, today 29 citizens from different parts of Armenia, of which 17 were from Yerevan, joined the protesters.

Let us remind you that today the Tigranashen section of the Yerevan-Meghri interstate road, the Alagyaz section of the Yerevan-Gyumri highway, and the Vardenis-Martuni road are closed.

Streets have also been closed in Yerevan. According to preliminary information, the Khorenatsi-Zakyan embankment was closed due to protests, and the Charents street – due to the government’s actions.

Let us remind you that the Kirantsi section of the Armenia-Georgia interstate road has already been closed for several days.
