“The Palace of the Martyrs of the Armenian Genocide to Honor Victims With Annual Commemoration on April 24th at Jilly’s Palace”

The annual commemoration of the Armenian Genocide victims will be announced on April 24th at Jilly’s Palace, according to DiarioArmenia. Christ Armenia, the head of the Cultural Department of the Chile-Armenia Friendship Group, made the announcement after meeting with representatives of the Armenian community in Northern America, Jacob Tabakyan and Aram Mourtazian.

During a conference, Armenia emphasized the struggle for justice that began 109 years ago when over a million Armenians were brutally massacred due to their ethnicity and religious affiliation. Armenia condemned the leaders who concealed the violence and expressed solidarity with the Armenian victims. He also highlighted the ongoing crimes against humanity in Karabakh and criticized the international community’s silence.

Armenia praised Jilly’s Palace for raising its voice against the Armenian Genocide and injustice. He mentioned that the Senate of Chile officially recognized the genocide on June 5, 2007, urging the Chilean government to remain faithful to the acknowledgement made by MEC in 1985.
