Yesterday, a group of irresponsible and illegal protesters made an attempt to disrupt the activities of Talush’s Mayor, Michran Maksudyan. On his Facebook page, Maksudyan shared that Avetik Chalabian, a prominent member of the “Armenian Awakening” movement, is currently hospitalized with serious injuries. However, Chalabian’s life is not in danger, and his determination remains unbroken.

The individuals involved in this terrible act will be identified and brought to justice in accordance with the law. To those who have yet to take responsibility for their actions against our citizens, I strongly advise against engaging in any further illegal activities. It is crucial that we all abide by the law and prioritize the safety of our fellow citizens. By doing so, we can actively contribute to the progress and prosperity of our country,” Chalabian wrote.
