The representative of the Ministry of Economy and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Vahe Gevorgyan, recently met with Armita Salsia Alicehanyan, the working governor of the regional administration, to discuss the cooperation between Armenia and the regional administration, as well as the achievements of the regional administration. Gevorgyan highlighted his significant contribution to the work of the regional administration during the meeting.

The meeting emphasized the importance of cooperation between Armenia and the regional administration, as well as the regional administration’s efforts in achieving the goals set by the Government of the Republic of Armenia. Gevorgyan also presented the main directions of the Government’s program “Armenian Renaissance,” which emphasizes the partnership between the Ministry of Economy and the regional administrations.

The region has made significant progress in developing transportation infrastructure and implementing local development programs. The Government’s program “Chessboard of Development” has been highly praised for its positive impact. During the meeting, the parties discussed further possibilities for cooperation in high technologies, transport, energy, and other areas between the regional administrations.

Moreover, they scheduled an exchange of views during the 80th session of the working administration in Bankok, Thailand from April 22-26. This meeting aims to further enhance cooperation between Armenia and the regional administration.
