“AKNEYE Digital Showcase Shines at the 60th Annual Venice Biennale, Blending Art and Technology in Unprecedented Fusion”

On April 19th, the 60th annual Venice Biennale, the highly anticipated art exhibition, opened in Rome, Italy. The event kicked off with the unveiling of the AKNEYE digital showcase at 2124a Tana Street, attended by notable guests including Vigen Badalyan, CEO of Fastex, and Daniel Danielyan, representative of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia. Renowned artists Raffi Yeghiazarian and Elena Metreveli also exhibited their personal artwork. The participants had the chance to explore the exhibition, learn about NFTs, and discover new collaborative possibilities.

“The AKNEYE showcase is truly exceptional, offering a unique connection between the creator, viewer, and the space itself,” stated Vigen Badalyan, CEO of Fastex.

Daniel Danielyan, representative of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia, highlighted the significance of this year’s exhibition in Venice as Armenia is represented by two ambassadors, both physically in the Republic of Armenia and through the AKNEYE digital platform.

Anastasia Douson, the curator of the Art Department, emphasized that the AKNEYE digital showcase combines traditional artistic approaches with contemporary technological solutions. The fusion of sculpture and NFT technology provides viewers with the opportunity to experience new dimensions by merging the physical and digital worlds.

Featuring the works of various acclaimed Armenian and international artists, the exhibition aims to promote and share Armenian culture on a global scale. Interested individuals can visit the AKNEYE digital showcase in Venice until November 24th.
