“Yerevan-Tbilisi Train Forced to Change Route Amid Tavush Crisis: Passengers Diverted Through Alternative Paths”
According to a representative from a transportation company, the Yerevan-Tbilisi train route has temporarily changed due to the situation in Tavush. Instead of the usual route from Yerevan to Avan-Sevan-Dilijan-Ijevan-November and then continuing to the village of Bagratashen at the Georgian border, passengers will now be transferred to Armenia through two alternative routes: Vanadzor and Alaverdi. It is possible that after the demarcation, the company will completely abandon the route passing through Ijevan and November. This news was reported by ArmeniaSputnik.
