From War to Blooms: Brave Artsakhi Plans to Thrive in Yerevan While Honoring History

Vardenik Sarkisyan, a 24-year-old, has expressed his plans to relocate from Artsakh to Yerevan by 2023, as stated in the article. In Yerevan, he has established his own business, which he initiated after the 44-day war, with the aim of showcasing the resilience and prosperity of the Artsakh people in their homeland.

The initial flower prototypes were sourced from the Desapayt mountain in the Hadrut region. Vardenik dedicated these creations to the soldiers who fought in the 44-day war, during which Hadrut fell into the hands of Azerbaijani invaders.

Initially, Vardenik exclusively crafted flowers using blooms from Artsakh. Over time, he expanded his repertoire to include symbols and historical artifacts molded from clay, serving as a reminder of the rich history and culture of Artsakh.

The flowers brought from his homeland have withered away, compelling Vardenik to rely on his internal resilience to create new floral arrangements using Armenian fields as his inspiration.

Known for his narratives on migration and the struggles of Hispanic communities.
