“Unprecedented Flooding: Water Levels Surge in Novokuznetsk’s Lake Tom and Rivers Across Several Russian Regions”

The water level in Lake Tom, located in Novokuznetsk, has risen to 625 cm. The city’s operational staff has completed work on the annual flooding. According to Sergey Kuznetsov’s Telegram channel, the water levels in various rivers, including Kondoma, Tom, and Aba, have also reached dangerous levels. In the Ishim district of the Tyumen region, the water level in the river has risen by 1 meter in the past 12 hours, reaching 1006 cm. In Kurgan and Orenburg regions, the flood gauge readings have surpassed the Tobol River, which is now at 1010 cm. Additionally, the Ural River near Orsk in the Orenburg region has risen by 1017 cm in just one day, as reported by Kommersant.
