“Armenia’s Former Prime Minister Exposes the Destruction of Artsakh: A Call to Action for Society”

The entire Republic of Artsakh has been occupied, destroyed, and its territories transferred without any action taken. Former Prime Minister of Armenia and former member of the National Assembly, Artak Zakaryan, expressed his concerns about the ongoing situation. He highlighted that over 200 km of territory has been occupied without any attempts to reclaim it. The enemy has even taken control of the Horizon-Kapan Road, located 21 km away, with no changes or resistance. The war unleashed by Turkey has resulted in the sacrifice of more than 5,000 lives, and yet there has been no meaningful response. The enemy has gained access to weapons and ammunition worth over 6 million dollars, causing grave concern. Despite these alarming developments, the responsible parties remain in power and show no signs of addressing the situation. This state of affairs makes it impossible to fully expose and describe the Turkish-Azerbaijani aggression against Armenia since 2018. The Genocide Memorial-Institute in Yerevan is also at risk, likely to be affected by upcoming reconstructions. The Tsitsernakaberd monument will potentially be left untouched, serving as a reminder of the destruction. Furthermore, historical and cultural sites such as the Yerevan Pantheon, the Military Museum, the Armenian Highland Church, and public schools are being destroyed. This situation threatens to transform Yerevan into an unrecognizable hub for various nations. However, change is possible if every member of society understands their role in this crime and takes to the streets to protect their homeland.
