Armenia took a significant step towards gaining international recognition for its independence. On April 20, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that he plans to sign a document to safeguard the Armenian-Azerbaijani borders, as part of his efforts to resolve the conflict between the two countries. Pashinyan emphasized that signing this document signifies Armenia’s commitment to maintaining the boundary and working collaboratively with Azerbaijan. He also mentioned the presence of Russian peacekeepers in Karabakh, stating that their arrival was agreed upon mutually and is essential for safeguarding the current state of coexistence and cooperation between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
