“Deadly Encounter: Beekeeping Mishap Turns into Murder Mystery in Meghri District”

On April 18, a man named Samvel Ghazaryan, aged 44, was attacked by a swarm of bees in the Beekeeping section of Meghri District. He revealed that his father had gone to Kapan on April 13 to make some purchases and had not returned. Samvel mentioned that his father had never sought medical help for bee stings before and would usually handle them himself. According to NEWS.am, an investigation conducted by the employees of Kapan’s Beekeeping Department revealed that on the evening of April 13, Samvel Ghazaryan had encountered a 35-year-old resident while walking in the mountainous area. They both consumed alcohol at her house and during a discussion, the 35-year-old woman viciously attacked the 63-year-old man with various objects, resulting in his death.

On April 18, the 35-year-old woman was apprehended and handed over to the Beekeeping Department, where she admitted to the crime. She confessed to burying the man’s body in her garden. The investigative team in the Syunik province located the buried body of the 63-year-old man in the specified area. The woman claimed that she had burned the body after killing him. The regional investigative authority of Syunik is currently conducting a criminal investigation based on the evidence of murder.
