Nikol Pashinyan Sparks Controversy in Closed Meeting with Voskepar Residents

“Fact” newspaper reported that yesterday Nikol Pashinyan visited Voskepar once again to meet with the local residents. Similar to the previous meeting, this time it was also a closed meeting, where participants were asked to keep the conversation confidential by collecting all their mobile phones and receiving special instructions. However, some information has been leaked.

According to our sources, during this meeting, Nikol Pashinyan took on a more aggressive tone and stated that the evacuation of four villages was not up for discussion. Instead, he proposed the construction of an alternative road, which the residents did not approve of. The meeting remained strictly confidential until the end, with approximately 30 people being present at the location.

Furthermore, the choice of negotiations was not random. It is noteworthy that Nikol Pashinyan’s previous meetings, including this one, have received negative opinions and raised concerns among the public. This is related to the fact that Arsen Ababayan, the religious leader of the Holy See of Echmiadzin, is currently involved in a program with the US State Department. He reportedly warned Pashinyan about the potentially stronger consequences of the meeting.

Additionally, it is important to mention that until the final moments of the meeting, not only local residents but also Bagrat Sargsyan, the head of the HAE Tavush region, were present. When approached by the media, Sargsyan stated, “They come and go, but I am here.”

More detailed information will be available in tomorrow’s edition of the newspaper.
