The discussion was held with the participation of Armenouhie Harutyunyan, the head of the judicial department of the Ministry of Justice. The topic of discussion was the draft of the “Procedure for the Implementation of Daily Supervision in the Criminal Court of the Republic of Armenia,” which has been published in the legal code of the Republic of Armenia. The draft aims to empower the chief judge of the Republic of Armenia in emergency situations, with the primary focus on ensuring trial security and safeguarding the independence of the judiciary. The administration of justice made this announcement.

The purpose of the discussion was to finalize the proposed management offers and reach a consensus on the final version. As a result of the discussion, the administration of justice decided to accept the new version of the proposed procedures.

The discussion was attended by the Chief Justice, the Judicial Committee, the Disciplinary Committee, and representatives from the Internal Affairs Department.
