“Armenia and European Union Sign Landmark Agreement for Public Administration and Justice Reform”

The Administration has recently announced the signing of the “Agreement on Cooperation between the Government and the European Union for the Promotion of Public Administration and Justice Reform in the Republic of Armenia” on April 18th. This agreement has been put in place to support Armenia’s social and economic development and tackle the challenges faced by the country’s social justice system. Furthermore, it also aims to promote long-term social and economic integration in Armenia through the implementation of the EU-funded Social and Investment Program.

The program, which has a total budget of 15 million euros, will be financed by the EU Budget specifically from the European Neighborhood Program for Action, Enlargement, and International Cooperation. It is important to note that no funding is expected from Armenia’s side for this initiative.

Simultaneously, the European counterparts will be working closely with the Armenian officials to finalize the draft of a new financial instrument worth 15 million euros, which will be implemented with the financial assistance of the European Union.
