“Russian Military Forces Begin Withdrawal from Karabakh and Surrounding Areas, Azerbaijani Media Reports”

Russian military forces are reportedly leaving the territory of Karabakh and the surrounding areas, according to information from Azerbaijani media outlets, as reported by Sputnik. The first units of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, along with technicians, have already left the Armenian Dadivank monastery in the Karvachar region (also known as Kelbajar), with security of the monastery now being provided by Azerbaijani personnel. There are also reports on social media about the movement of Russian technology through Tartar and Barda, indicating the beginning of the withdrawal of Russian military forces from Azerbaijan. It is important to note that Russian peacekeepers were deployed in Karabakh on November 10, 2020, as stated in a tripartite agreement between Azerbaijan, Russia, and Armenia, although these reports have not yet been officially confirmed.
