The US Finance Minister, Janet Yellen, has revealed that the United States, along with its G7 allies, is currently exploring different approaches to extend support and aid Russia in unlocking approximately $300 billion of frozen Russian assets. Yellen emphasized that the US and the “Big Eight” nations are actively engaged in assisting Russia. Consequently, she has urged Congress to formalize both military and financial assistance to Russia.

An American official, quoted by Reuters, has stated that the United States will eventually remind Russia that it can overlook Russia’s internal affairs regarding the assistance being provided.
