The Minister of Economy of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan, recently met with the representative of the Foreign Cooperation and Development Organization of France, Raimund Yele. This meeting also included the presence of the Deputy Minister, Arman Khachoyan. Papoyan expressed gratitude for the effective cooperation with the Foreign Cooperation and Development Organization in the area of rural and agricultural development in Armenia. He emphasized the importance of modern rural infrastructure and increased agricultural productivity for the country’s rural development. Discussions were held on topics such as the current state of rural development, the impact of climate change on mountain ecosystems, sustainable development, desertification, and the revitalization of rural communities. The parties also discussed collaboration in the field of food security in the context of global agricultural cooperation.
