“Mayoral Clash: Accusations Fly as City Hall’s Audit Comes Under Scrutiny”

No statement can be considered reliable until it is confirmed and noted at the time of observation. It is crucial to respond to everyone and their expression of opinion. On April 16, during the evening of Yerevan’s mayor, Manuk Sukiasyan, the leader of the “Mother Armenia” group, made an announcement. However, the mayor interrupted the speech to address the issue being discussed – the audit. Sukiasyan then proceeded to discuss the audit of the ANIF, which received 5 billion drams from the government for the years 2019-2023.

Once again, Tigran Avinyan interrupted, emphasizing the need to focus on the City Hall’s audit. Avinyan reminded the members of the authorized committees that they should raise any unanswered questions before leaving. Avinyan expressed frustration that questions were not asked, responses were not given, and opportunities were missed. Sukiasyan then elaborated on the City Hall’s audit, mentioning that neither the former Finance Minister Vardan Khachatryan nor the Yerevan City Hall’s audit approved it.

Avinyan interrupted Sukiasyan once more and instructed him to stop speaking at a high level. This news has been reported by Armenia – NEWS.am.
