The Director of the Iranian Trade Development Organization is scheduled to visit Armenia in the near future. During a press meeting on April 16, Mehdi Sobhani, the head of the Iranian Economic and Cultural Mission, announced the upcoming visit. He expressed his optimism about the visit and the potential to discuss and establish favorable conditions for trade relations. The Ambassador of Iran in Armenia also highlighted the importance of the visit and emphasized Armenia’s interest in further cooperation with Iran, particularly in the areas of tourism and transportation. The diplomat acknowledged that Armenia’s strategic location in the Central Asian region makes it a convenient hub for trade with Iran, India, and other countries.
