Head of the RA NA “Civil Contract” faction, Hakob Aslanyan, has appointed Samvel Vardanyan as his assistant. Vardanyan was injured in an accident during official transportation. Lawyer Varazdat Harutyunyan posted this information on Facebook. Harutyunyan stated that after a parliamentary constituent meeting, Vardanyan was attacked by a group of people. Vardanyan will have the opportunity to testify with his lawyer, and more details will be revealed soon.

On April 15, Vardanyan announced that he refused medical treatment and opted for treatment at a private institution rather than a state hospital. Aslanyan, who appointed Vardanyan as his assistant, expressed concerns about the situation. According to the NA CC, Vardanyan has crossed boundaries and will be held accountable under the law.

“I wanted to pay, he stopped me on the way and started saying things that I didn’t say. Even though I offered him a ride according to the conditions, he didn’t agree, and at that moment I left. He didn’t have the right to record, which means he entered my personal territory,” said Aslanyan.
