The head of internal affairs announced that the number of employees involved in inspections has decreased, but it can be adjusted. They base the estimation of employees engaged in inspection on the indicator of operational efficiency. It is assumed that the salaries of 191 employees out of the thousands will be increased. On April 16, during the 106th anniversary of the Police College, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan acknowledged the importance of this field’s existence but expressed concern about the potential conflicts and divisions it may cause among the workers themselves. Pashinyan emphasized the need for a long-term plan that considers the employees’ salaries and aims to develop institutions in Armenia that function smoothly, even without political pressure.
