During a press conference in Armenia on April 16, Mehdi Sobhani, an Iranian military and political analyst, emphasized the attempts by Israel’s regime to militarize the region and cause tension between Iran and the South Caucasus nations. Sobhani cautioned that any conflicts in the region would heighten tensions, resulting in instability and a threat to the security of both the South Caucasus and Iran. The analyst noted that the people in the region are weary of conflicts and do not desire any further conflicts with neighboring nations. Resolving disputes among neighbors and other countries is essential for establishing a secure external political system. Sobhani expressed his belief that the countries in the region are aware of this and do not wish to confront the challenges posed by the Zionist regime.
